Dr. Mark Bohman is our Pastor.
He and his wife Pat and their 5 children came from Steinbach Manitoba on
July 1,1998. Pastor Mark Bohman was saved more then 30 years ago and that
day he decided that God wanted him to serve him. Since he loved flying,
he began preparing for missionary aviation.
In college he surrendered to be a Christian school teacher. But, God had other
plans for him. He felt God was calling him to be a pastor and a missionary.
He gives those that are looking for God's will in their lives a
word of encouragement: "We
must first be willing to do His will and believe that God is able to do His work
through us, then He promises to show us His will." When asked why he is
still a pastor he says, "The Lord's work is the greatest work in all the
world. The Lord is the greatest employer with the greatest retirement package!" He
is motivated by seeing God save the lost and by building up His children.
By being a pastor his goal is to bring glory to God and to encourage the
saved. This is God's will for all saved people and as we do this we will
find "fulfillment
and satisfaction".
In his free time he enjoys walking, flying, and fishing.
He leaves us with a few words of encouragement and advice. It is found
in Proverbs 3:5,6 which says, "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge
him, and he shall direct thy paths."
